Swamp Dog
S has recently discovered this place called the Greenway. Our first time on it, we passed three mile markers without crossing another road before we decided to turn around.
In simple language, that means dog heaven! And for about a half-mile stretch, there's this great swamp for me and Malcolm to splash in and drink from. Oh, the yummy smells in that water!
The only bad thing is that after we finished our hike there yesterday, with me and Malcolm wearing Eau de Swamp (it was heavenly), S got a wild hair and decided totally out of the blue to give us a bath. For Malcolm, that's fine. He doesn't care what you do to him as long as you tell him he's a good boy.
But for me? No thank you! I went and hid on the bed as soon as we got home. I knew what she was thinking.
It didn't work. I got thoroughly wet and shampooed and dried. When it was all said and done, not a trace of that lovely swamp scent remained. Her timing is terrible.
There are no pictures yet of the Greenway, so instead here is one of Malcolm and me posing with J after our bath:

Pavel says hello to all!
he recently got a boo-boo that has him limping still; he tore a claw on his back foot (not off, but it did bleed) very close to his toe... it seems to be healing well, though, even though it's clearly still sore.
Well, you have fun at Greenway, Misha- before it gets too cold to go!
Haha, Dogs are terrible like that! "Hey look something stinky or dead or both! I'm going to go roll around in it, okay Mom?"
